Vision. Mission. Foundations.

VISION STATEMENT: The people of God in the Community to Impact the Community.

MISSION STATEMENT: Win, Disciple, Advance

FOUNDATIONS: Nine ways we intentionally live out our vision.

We go after the one

Jesus left the ninety-nine to go after the one lost sheep. So we will do the same by intentionally taking hope, encouragement, love, acceptance, and an invitation to “the one” in our workplaces, schools, universities, neighborhoods, and families... Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 15:4; Acts 1:8

We make room at the table

As a Church we are called to make room through generosity. We will give through our tithes and offerings, through acts of service, through giving up our seats and parking spaces, through outreach and evangelism, and by doing whatever it takes to make room at the table. Proverbs 11:24-25; Matthew 6:19-21; Luke 6:37-38; John 3:16; Acts 20:35; Galatians 6:2; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

We share the Good News

Jesus Christ died and rose again so that we can be forgiven of our sins and have a relationship with Him. We want to share this with those that God brings into our path.
Psalms 96:3; Matthew 24:14; Mark 16:15; Revelations 14:6-7

We study the Bible

The Bible is the infallible/inspired Word Of God. It’s the foundation by which we live our lives. Psalm 12:6; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We are led by the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit in-dwells believers. Jesus left us with a promise when He went up to Heaven... That He would send us a Helper. This Helper, the Holy Spirit, empowers us, fills us, and directs us. Luke 4:1; Luke 12:11-12; John 14:26; John 16:13; Romans 8:5; Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:16

We walk in surrender

We take a hands open approach to how we live our lives. Through our time, family, relationships, profession, education, dreams, & all areas of our lives we choose to live surrendered to God’s leading in our lives. Proverbs 3:5-6; Luke 9:23-24; Romans 12:2; Galatians 2:20; James 4:7; James 4:10

We fight for unity

Our world is filled with gossip, complaining, backbiting, discord, and division. We want to live differently. We will work hard to communicate and relate to each other in a way that promotes unity. Psalm 133:3; Philippians 2:2; 1 Corinthians 1:10; 2 Corinthians 13:11; Ephesians 4:1-6; Romans 14:19

We help others move forward

Jesus Christ gave up His life so that we could walk in relationship with our Heavenly Father. In response, we want to be outwardly focused and help others succeed in their walk with the Lord, in their giftings, and with their talents. Matthew 20:26-28; Mark 8:35; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15; Philippians 2:3-4; Romans 12:10

We are carriers of the vision

If we are going to fulfill the mission that God has given to our Church, it will take all of us doing our part to love the people that walk in our doors and come along our paths. Together we are owners of the vision. Matthew 5:14; Romans 12:4-5; 1 Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 4:4; Ephesians 4:11-13; Philippians 3:13-14
